Minority languages of Russia

Votic language - one of the Finno-Ugric languages (Balto-Finnic group). Spoken in a few villages of the Kingisepp district in the Leningrad region. Has less than 50 speakers. Dialects: Western, Eastern (became extinct during the second half of the 20th century), dialect of the village of Kurovicy (almost extinct), Krevin dialect (in Latvia) that became extinct in the 19th century. No written language.
